Free First Time Central Heating Grants

With the Government’s Affordable Warmth Scheme, you could be eligible for one of our first time central heating Grants.

What is "First Time Central Heating"?

First Time Central Heating is a great new Government Initiative recently launched as part of the government ECO3 scheme. This funding is for both homeowners and tenants who either claim benefits or meet their Local Authority (LA Flex) criteria as explained in our home page. The property must have no central heating system at present, in other words no gas boiler and no radiators present. Some examples of properties which would qualify are properties with either solid fuel fires, electric storage heaters, electric panel heaters, a gas fire only or electric plug in heaters. We can look at installing a full mains gas central heating system including boiler and radiators into the property for you funded through the new ECO3 scheme.

  • We will then fill in all necessary paperwork and submit an application into the government scheme or the council on your behalf.

  • Once the application has been verified we will arrange a convenient time when we can get one of our qualified surveyors to call out to the property to carry out a short survey which takes about 20-30 minutes.

  • The final step will be for us to book you in with one of our qualified OFTEC installers for your install. Both install cost and the full cost of the boiler and radiators will be covered by your government grant.
